Why We Call Africa Home
I (Duncan ) grew up under the vast Southern African sky, where every sunrise painted the horizon with colours that no photograph could ever capture. This land didn’t just shape my childhood, it became part of my
very being. The rhythm of life, the majesty of untamed wilderness, the warmth of communities that welcomed me as family. Africa carved herself into my soul in ways I’m still discovering.
Over the years, I’ve watched the world form opinions about my continent based on fragments of stories, missing the profound beauty that I wake up to every day. They see headlines, but I see beauty. They hear statistics, but I hear the laughter of children playing and the wisdom of elders sharing
stories. They imagine danger, but I know the safety of being embraced by communities where ubuntu, the belief that we are all connected isn’t just a concept, it’s a way of life.
My wife (Ajanie) and I have made it our mission to bridge this gap. Through our brand LUX & TRACK AFRICA, we’re not
just curating tours, we’re opening our home to you. We’re sharing the Africa
that raised me, shaped us, and continues to fill us with wonder every single day.
