Collecting Water When Overlanding

Having enough water supplies when overlanding is extremely important. Especially when you travel remote outback. The importance of keeping hydrated cannot be over emphasised. You can survive without food for quite a while, but you cannot do without hydration. Especially when travelling during the warmer months.

In the outback water sources can be from bore taps, wells, reservoirs  rivers or streams. Once you have made sure the water is clean and not contaminated, the next step is to collect the water. To do this there are a number of different tools to use.

In this video I talk about how to collect water when overlanding.

Even if you are not into 4 wheeling these tips will be very useful for collecting water when camping.

Cheers!
