Historic Burra - Part 2 | Overlanding South Australia
If you are looking to do a road trip Australia, then consider the state of South Australia. Something we love doing is overlanding in South Australia, our state. Whether it be offroad in a 4x4 or a car, there is much to see and do. Being 1 million square kms in land size, exploring South Australia offers many rewards to the keen overland traveller.
In this video we share my road trip to Burra in the Clare Valley region. What to see in Burra, South Australia you may ask. Well, take it from us, there is heaps to see. Especially if you are the history buff, then the historic town of Burra will certainly not disappoint.
Only a short drive from the town of Clare in the Clare Valley, we spent an entire day exploring the Burra region. A town which came to being in the mid 1800s due to copper mining. Mining did not last for too long. But the legacies left behind by the people who toiled hard for a better life is fascinating and inspiring.
Cheers!
