This 13-day photographic safari has been designed for travellers who want more than a holiday – it is for those who want to come home with a portfolio of powerful images and a deeper understanding of Africa’s wild heart. The journey links three of Southern Africa’s most evocative regions: Mashatu’s “Land of the Giants”, a remote private concession in the Okavango Delta, and the dramatic landscapes surrounding Victoria Falls.

You begin with four nights at Mashatu Lodge, where massive elephant herds, big cats and sculpted landscapes provide constant photographic opportunity. After a night to reset at City Lodge Waterfall City in Johannesburg, you continue to Mokolwane Camp for four nights in one of the Delta’s most remote, wilderness-rich areas. The safari culminates with three nights at Insika Lodge near Victoria Falls, adding misty gorge views, Zambezi river scenes and entirely new compositions to your collection. Throughout, the routing, timing and camp choices have been selected to maximise light, variety and time in the field.

• Meet and greet at relevant airports and all road transfers as follows:

• Scheduled regional flights:
  • Johannesburg – Maun (economy class, one way).
  • Victoria Falls – Johannesburg (economy class, one way).
• Small plane flights within Botswana:

• All accommodation and meals as specified:
  • Mashatu Lodge – 4 nights on a Full Board Plus basis (all meals and safari activities).

• Use of one private photographic vehicle at Mashatu and one private photographic vehicle at Mokolwane (per group as per quote).
• One Lala Limpopo sleep-out hide session per person.
• Two Matebole photographic hide sessions per person (when hides are open and conditions are suitable).
• Conservation fees and gate/park entry fees for the included safari components.
• Limited laundry services at safari camps where available.
