This 13-day East Africa journey has been created to immerse you in the rhythm, beauty and soul of Kenya and Tanzania. It blends comfort, adventure and discovery across some of the most iconic safari landscapes on the continent, with a balance of exploration and time to simply pause and take it all in. 

From the rolling plains of the Masai Mara and the flamingo shores of Lake Elmenteita, to Amboseli’s elephant herds under Kilimanjaro, Tarangire’s baobab valleys, Lake Manyara’s escarpment and the endless Serengeti, the itinerary builds towards the dramatic volcanic bowl of the Ngorongoro Crater. Throughout, you stay at well-established Serena and Sopa properties chosen for location, views and atmosphere, travelling in safari 4x4s with experienced driver-guides.

Pricing

Prices are per person sharing, based on the scheduled small-group departure. The tour departs every Sunday with a maximum of 7 guests per vehicle. Child rates and private departure options are available on request (supplements apply for private touring). 

Inclusions

• Landside meet-and-greet services on arrival in Nairobi.
• All transfers as specified in the itinerary.
• Transport on the safari sector in 4x4 safari vehicles on an exclusive basis (maximum 7 passengers per vehicle) with guaranteed window seats; 7th passenger seated in front next to the driver. 
• Services of experienced English-speaking driver-guides on safari (Spanish, French, German and Italian on request and subject to availability).
• All accommodation and meals as specified in the itinerary:
  • Nairobi Serena Hotel – 1 night, Deluxe Room, Bed & Breakfast.
  • Mara Serena Safari Lodge – 2 nights, Lodge Room, Full Board Plus.
  • Lake Elmenteita Serena Camp – 1 night, Deluxe Double Tent, Full Board Plus.
  • Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge – 2 nights, Standard King Room, Full Board Plus.
  • Tarangire Sopa Lodge – 1 night, Standard Room, Full Board Plus.
  • Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge – 1 night, Standard Double Room, Full Board Plus.
  • Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge – 2 nights, Standard Room, Full Board Plus.
  • Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge – 2 nights, Standard Double Room, Full Board Plus (with picnic lunches as per itinerary).
• Game drives and safari activities as specified in the detailed day-by-day itinerary.
• All applicable park fees and government taxes (excluding any Zanzibar Infrastructure Tax where relevant). 
• Filtered water in vehicles – guests are encouraged to bring reusable water bottles.
• Internal flights if and where specifically included in this itinerary, with applicable airport taxes (as per final confirmed version). 

Exclusions

• International and regional flights (except where expressly specified as included).
• Airport taxes, except on tickets issued as part of included flights.
• Passport and visa fees for Kenya and Tanzania.
• Zanzibar Infrastructure Tax (where applicable).
• Optional hot air balloon safaris in the Masai Mara or Serengeti.
• Driver-guide gratuities, lodge and hotel porterage, and dining room tips.
• Personal travel, baggage and medical insurance (compulsory and strongly recommended).
• All drinks, laundry, telephone bills and items of a personal nature unless otherwise specified as included.
• Any additional tours, excursions or activities not listed under inclusions or not specified in the confirmed itinerary.
